Description

Blockchat is a secure mobile chat application built on the Ethereum blockchain, designed to provide users with decentralized and tamper-proof messaging. By leveraging blockchain technology, Blockchat ensures that all messages are encrypted, verifiable, and stored on-chain, enhancing privacy and data security compared to traditional chat apps.

Users can send and receive messages in real-time while benefiting from the transparency and immutability of the blockchain. Push notifications keep users informed of new messages instantly.

My Role

As the lead developer, I was responsible for:

1. Designing and implementing a user-friendly mobile chat app with Flutter.
2. Developing Ethereum smart contracts using Solidity to handle message storage and verification.
3. Integrating with the Optimism Sepolia network for efficient blockchain transactions.
4. Using Web3.js to connect the mobile app with smart contracts.
5. Implementing push notifications using Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) for new messages.
6. Managing app state with GetX for smooth real-time chat interactions.
